Jayant Bhatt

(Practising Lawyer)

Mr. Bhatt is an Independent Lawyer based out of New Delhi, India. He holds dual Masters of Law (LL.M.) from New York University, USA & National University of Singapore and is a member of the prestigious Supreme Court Bar Association and Delhi High Court Bar Association. His office caters to varied clients comprising Governmental and Non-Governmental Bodies, Multinationals, Financial Institutions and individuals in an array of matters. Mr Bhatt besides being a practising Advocate is also a prolific speaker at various platforms and is an individual with a firm belief in greater societal good. He has a keen interest in teaching and mentoring young minds and is also a writer and a thought leader.

Hrideja Shah

(Foreign Attorney & Legal Consultant, Dual Qualified Lawyer India & California (Admission pending), Founder of Legal Sollers)

Ms. Shah is a foreign attorney & Legal Consultant working in the field of Private Equity and Venture Capital Finance. She has cleared the California bar exam and was admitted to Bar Council of India. She completed her LL.M from the University of California, Berkeley with a specialization in Business laws. She did her B.A.LL.B from Jindal Global Law School, IN. She is founder of a venture called Legal Sollers where she is helping law students write better and improve their profiles. She’s also an active blogger giving updates on private equity, venture capital and Mergers and Acquisitions. She’s been a beloved speaker on various platforms guiding young minds to excel in the field of law.

Pallab Das

(Assistant Professor of Law at Bennett University)

Mr. Pallab Das is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law at Bennett University. Prior to that, he was working as a Research and Teaching Associate at National Law University Odisha, while pursuing his PhD from NLUO in Arbitration and Maritime Law. A law graduate from ILS Law College, Pune and an LLM postgraduate from Swansea University, United Kingdom, his areas of interests include International Maritime Law, International Commercial and Investment Arbitration, Air Law, Evidence Law, and Transfer of Property Act. Prior to joining NLUO, he practised in High court of Orissa and also worked as a Civil Judge, Odisha Judicial Services.

Afroz Alam

(Professor and HOD of Political Science at Maulana Azad National Urdu University)

After completing his B.A., M.A. and PhD in Political Science, his doctorate subject of the area being Comparative Politics; Afroz Alam started his teaching expedition that spans universities like Aligarh Muslim University, KIIT School of Law, National Law University Odisha, Global University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, later becoming the HOD of Political Science at MANUU. He is also the Director(I/C) of Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy at MANNU, Hyderabad. Earlier, he also served as the Head, School of Liberal Arts; Director, Centre for Public Policy and Governance and Registrar of National Law University Odisha.

Ashit Kumar Srivastava

(Assistant Professor, Dharmashastra National Law University)

Mr Ashit Kumar Srivastava is currently working as an Assistant Professor at National Law University, Jabalpur. He’s had two prior teaching experiences at National Law University, Odisha and at Amity Law School, Lucknow. He was pursuing his PhD while teaching for a year at National Law University, Odisha and while also heading the Constitutional Law Society at the University. His areas of expertise lie in the respective fields of Constitutional Law, Data Protection Law and Administrative Law. He also volunteers at teaching and training students about the growing discipline of the Data Protection Law.

Akshay Pathak

(Senior Associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas)

Mr Akshay Pathak is an alumnus of Amity Law School, Delhi(GGSIPU) and he currently works on the post of the Senior Associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. He was previously an Associate at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, where he had interned earlier as a student too. His Practice areas include Domestic and Cross-border M&A transactions and other general corporate matters including restructurings inter alia.

Sanya Darakhshan Kishwar

(Assistant Lecturer, Jindal Global Law School)

Ms Sanya Kishwar is currently working as an Assistant Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School and has completed her LL.M. in International Human Rights from the University of Leeds. She completed her LL.M. in General Laws from Penn State Law, University Park, Pennsylvania in 2019.

She completed her BSc.LLB(H), Honours in Business Laws from the Central University of South Bihar in 2018, where she was the convener of the Moot Court Society,  SLG. She graduated with a stellar academic record. Her key interest areas are gender justice, International Human Rights and International Commercial Arbitration.

Arunima Shastri

(Assistant Professor of Law, Kalinga University)

Ms Arunima Shastri is currently working as an assistant professor at Kalinga University. Prior to this, she worked as an assistant professor of law at the United world School of Law. She completed her BA.LLB (Honours) from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. Following that, she completed her LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Laws from National Law University Odisha. She completed her PhD in IP Law from Gujarat National Law University.

Niharika Salar

(Assistant Professor of Law, NALSAR Hyderabad)

Ms. Niharika Salar is currently working as an assistant professor at National Academy of Legal Science and Research, Hyderabad. She is an undergraduate from National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi and earned her LLM in Intellectual Property & Technology Law from the National University of Singapore. Her areas of interest are IPR and International Law. She has always had an ardent interest in moot court competitions and trial advocacy competitions and was also the core committee member of the Moot Court Committee, NUSRL Ranchi.

Arpita Bector

(Practising Lawyer)

Ms. Arpita Bector is an independent legal practitioner admitted both in India (since 2014) and State of New York (since 2018). She obtained her undergraduate degree in law (BALLB Hons – JD equivalent) from National Law Institute & University, Bhopal in 2013, and subsequently LLM from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia USA in 2015. Her area of practice involves Antitrust Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, International Commercial Law in furtherance to representing both as a Civil Litigator and Commercial Litigator. She is also an Arbitrator, participating in Dispute Resolution, Legal Assistance, and Legal advice in Corporate Disputes. Furthermore, she equivocally interests in creative writing and Legal research.

Mr. Avinash Singh

(Assistant Professor, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad)

Mr. Avinash Singh is presently working as an assistant professor of law at SLS, Hyderabad. He is a master at law with a specialization in corporate and commercial laws. He majorly interned at the Supreme Court including the chambers of present Attorney General of India, Mr. K.K Venugopal. He also interned at the Office of Lokayukta, Uttar Pradesh. He also worked as an associate at Harjot Singh and Company. He is currently a project assistant at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He has expertise and experience both as a corporate lawyer and an academic personality enables him to address specific contours of law.
